There are many ways to get involved with Harlequin Fayre: as volunteer crew members (production/build and shift based); as performers (musicians/bands, DJs, walkabout acts, storytellers, comedians, workshop facilitators, speakers, installation artists); as traders; as contractors / service providers / area managers.

Crew
Great crew are essential! No experience needed, just a positive attitude.
We have a huge array of roles, so there is something to suit everyone. It’s a great way to get your ticket, get fed and have fun.
The application process includes payment of a returnable deposit. Crew can buy discounted tickets for friends and family at the gate.
If applications are open, then we have spaces to fill, so if you apply and are able and willing, you will get in to the event.
Everyone that fulfills their role gets their deposit back after the event.
Come along, camp up, meet the team, add to the show and have a party!
Performers
Performers / DJs / Walkabout / Comedy / Workshops / Talks / Woodland play
We have a number of performance areas, and a very wide range of performers.
We welcome installation art, varied walkabout, night time shows and other gems. We like to reduce the separation between public and performer.
Traders
(Caterers, Traders, Crafts Area, Healing Area, Kidz Workshops & more)
Harlequin Fayre offers a great opportunity to trade Thursday lunchtime to Sunday midnight to around 3000 people who stay for the whole weekend. The event has run since 2010 and since 2013 we have sold out each year. More info on application.
From one of our traders; “We very much appreciate the payment scheme with the low fee plus commission. We are slowly finding ourselves priced out of festivals, some of which we have traded at for years, so this is most welcome and exceedingly fair and understanding. Hope we do well enough to pay you some commission on top of the fee.”
