Wonder, amazement, bafflement and fun await you! During the day we have the Circus Troupe performing Splosh – come and see Luke launched from the cannon! As the sun sets wander over to see a sheer medley of cabaret performers who will amaze and tickle your every fancy. Later at night we open the Psychedelic Circus featuring Music, Circus, Light Shows and a kaleidescope of late night revelry – Expect the Unexpected.
Scrap Racketeers
Brought to you by some of the great musicians who come to Harlequin. Bring your instrument, come chat to the stage manager and chalk it up. Bring what you expect to find – lively jamming, storytelling, humour, dancing and maybe some late night DJ sets.
Random Bullsh**t Generator
At the edge of the woods in the Glade – Nothing to see here! Introducing the Random Bullsh**t Generator with silly games like Drag Racing, Human Tetris and custard pie fights and DJs and lots of sillyness. We first generated at Strawberry Fair and can now generate for you at Harlequin.
Harlequin Unplugged
Join us under the trees to play acoustically, pack your instruments and we’ll see you on the other side of the Glade.
The Red Tent
This is a safe and welcoming retreat for Women and babes-in-arms. Compassionately led by experienced space-holders; you can find us in the Healing Area for structured circles and workshops on a number of themes; open discussion; quiet space and chocolate!
The Roundhouse
Our workshops are free to attend, led by experienced practitioners in Yoga, Chi Gung, Laughter Yoga, Drumming, Sound Baths, Meditation and more. Find this gentle space in the Healing Area.
Thinking Room
Hosting talks, workshops, films and presentations; evidence and experience-based. Topics have included permaculture, community living, climate activism, archeological myth-busting and alternative education.
In the mornings we also host Warhammer games! Find us in the Glade
Curiovan and stage
Curiovan is the world’s smallest natural history museum, a timeless museum of old where mindboggling fact meets almost believable fiction. Curiovan is joined this year by the CurioStage – a cute tiny stage dedicated to the curious, interesting, unusual and niche. Kidz Zone
The renowned Harlequin Kidz Area is a creative hub of fun under the sun, sailing the high seas 10.00am to 6.00pm every day!
This is a fun, safe and thoughtfully designed children’s field with room to explore a mountain of materials and endless inspiration. Every day there are scheduled shows, heaps of free play, rollicking entertainment, thoughtful workshops and creative spaces.
Healing Zone
Welcome to the Healing Area, a magical space at the heart of Harlequin Fayre; a space to come back to yourself; to find peace and nurturing, healing and reflection through our fully qualified and carefully selected Holistic Therapists, heart-centred activities, grounding workshops and sacred ceremony.

Medieval Village
Brought to you by Norwich and Norfolk Medieval Association – one of the oldest re-enactment groups in the country.
With period-costumed personnel providing talks and demonstrations plus activities like medieval coin strike, Come And Try Archery, Come And Try Siege Machine, medieval games, education and entertainment. Costumed artisans include the Bower & Fletcher, the Illuminator, a pardoner (monk), the Surgeon, Chandler, Scribe, Farmer, a Knight & man at arms. Cooks, minter, slinger and not least, a siege engineer.

Get involved in all manner of hands-on activities! This is an important and ever growing space showing off some beautiful skills from Norfolk and far beyond. Regular workshops and drop in sessions offer opportunities to discover new skills, create a stunning keepsake or focus some creative energy.

Woodland Play
Under new management for 2024 – In the woods…. We have three days packed full of Forest School, Woodland Play and Survival Skills workshops for all ages!
Come and experience: camp fire cooking / woodland crafts / a mud kitchen for the youngest of the tribe / story telling / foraging / nettle cordage / stalking / camouflage / forest bathing / shamanic journeys / sit spots / wildlife watching / den building / whittling / fire lighting / natural weaving / child led play / family laughter / relaxing and celebration!

The Glade in Glow – including Glow Garden
If you go down to the woods today you better go into The Glade (In Glow) area as it’s full of Ultra Violet decor and painting for you to find your inner artist.
Our Live UV artist area has been popular for years, and it’s grown! It now includes face painting, an art gallery, artwork workshops, and of course some great to tunes to dance to. We even have a UV garden – come and see the results of the seeds that have been sown.
Come and see the insects and flowers. Come and chill to music and get your hands dirty and glowing with paint and express yourself. Watch our team of artists and see their finished pieces in the blacked out gallery open in the day time too.
We will have workshops making more decor and if you make two you can come back and collect them late sunday evening as we pack up the UV garden of glow.

We will gather in the woodland area and prepare ourselves in ceremony to walk into the woods and to the river.
Creative Coppicing
We are a warm and inviting space where you can relax, create, and play. This vibrant area is perfect for unwinding, having fun, and connecting with others.
Gather around our central fire pit with seating, ideal for fireside moments and acoustic performances. Enjoy free workshops like musical shaker making, rock art, and crafting selfie frames from natural materials. Join spontaneous jam sessions with our provided instruments and soak in the enchanting acoustic music.
Get involved in activities like board games, chess, and Swing Ball. Learn the traditional skill of bender building in our interactive workshop, creating a cosy structure from natural materials.
Open from 10.00am to 10.00pm, the Creative Coppicing Area transforms into a cosy evening space with acoustic music around the fire, offering a magical and serene experience under the stars.
Find us in the Craft area. Our space is designed to be accessible and welcoming for all, with shaded areas, blankets, and cushions to enhance your comfort.
Bring your food and drinks, join the workshops, play games, chill out and make lasting memories at the Creative Coppicing Area.
Albion Pirate Ship
This beautiful and well loved creation started life in the Albion Fairs of the 70’s & 80’s, was recently restored and will again be in the Kidz Field as an imaginative and fun play space. Come and enjoy, and remember to accompany your children on their piratical adventures!

Bars, Caterers and Traders
Tap Routes bars brings you great beers, wines & spirits and keeps the prices low. There’s a bar in the Main Arena and another near Jester in the woods.
We have a wonderful collection of caterers on site with many great offerings and queue times are short. You’ll find them all near to the main campfire.
Our traders come from all across the country and are carefully picked to provide interesting and ethical wares for your perusal. If you leave your fancy clothes at home don’t panic – more can be found at the show!
